Biography

A child of the 60s, Bertrand made the prospect at the age of three, according to an unverifiable testimony of his relatives. He attended the evening classes in the city of Paris for a time - in drawing and engraving - and gradually widened the circle of masters: Delacroix, Dufy, Matisse, Marquet, etc. 



In 2006, first public presentation of his work at the Grand Palais, in Paris, at the Salon du dessin et de peinture à l'eau. Since then, the painter has exhibited regularly in Paris, in Ile de France, in the Basque country, in Normandy,…



“Study tirelessly before; once on stage, make mistakes if necessary, but you must execute freely "(Delacroix).


In other words, pretend it's easy: -

Through the practice of large format, in particular watercolor, the painter conquers a freedom of execution which is deployed in large and luminous keys heightened by a nervous, concise graphics.
