It was by seeing the paintings of his great-grandfather, Augustin Lesage, that Christian Allard formed his taste for art. This will be his only artistic training!
Completely self-taught, he only took up brushes in 1997 while waiting for a happy family event…!
Since that day, he has painted more than 300 paintings, some of which have taken him several hundred hours.
He explains that he does not know what he is going to achieve, that he expresses feelings linked to travels, including Egypt, where he remade the journey made in 1939 by his great-grandfather. From the accumulation of colors and shapes, sometimes faces, animal heads, known or unknown shapes appear, eyes or gazes multiply on the canvas ...
