Vittorio Paradisi was born in Lecce in 1934. He actually lives and works in Rome. His first solo exhibition was held in 1962 at the Eugenio Maccagnani Gallery, in Lecce. He has set up more than 70 Personal Exhibitions and participated in over a thousand national and international competitions and awards. Since 1959 he has taught Pictorial Decoration at the State Art Institute of Lecce and since 1971 Pictorial Disciplines at the 2nd State Artistic High School in Rome. 

In 1982 the anthological volume of graphics and dyes was published for the Cerroni editions of Rome. He has made several sacred works. His works are in prestigious private collections in different parts of the world. His typically Apulian-Mediterranean Roman painting is linked, compared to the Roman School of the 1900s, with a wider and more intense range of colors.
