Biography
Tung-Wen Margue is an artist born in Luxembourg in 1959.
After studying at the National School of Fine Arts of Paris, Tung-Wen Margue graduated with a degree in Fine Arts from the University Of Sorbonne of Paris I.
Tung-Wen Margue, who meditates a lot about his origins, seeks to depict in his pieces his personal conception of China. He developed his vision of space during several trips to France, which became characteristic of his work.
In his pieces he uses mainly oil paint in dull tones and matte shades. His colored papers can be glued on different aluminium, wood or corrugated iron supports. Tung-Wen Margue loves using multiple environments, natural scenes and symbolism in his works.
