Biography
Art by Son is the creative name of Kosovan artist Cani (pronounced Sonny). In his childhood, Cani fled his war-ridden native country to begin a new life in the Netherlands with his family. From an early age, the artist enjoyed drawing however it was only until later in his mid-twenties that Cani took up a career as an artist. Art by Son’s paintings and sculptures draw inspiration from popular culture, using acrylic paint to deliver his colorful cartoon characters.
