Andrey Smirnoff is a Russian artist, born in 1960. He began his studies at the theater school of Nigni Novgorod and continued his studies at the Fine Arts school in Saint-Petersburg. He lives and works in Saint-Petersburg. Oscillating between Gustav Klimnt and Egon Schiele, his pictorial work celebrates woman in unique virtuosity. He has been exhibiting abroad since 1997.
