Biography
Red XV came into being through a collaboration between two artists: EDA and Mathieu Claudon.Their first book "Paris, Skate in the City" comforted them with their project to work together. Mathieu Claudon is a photographer, specializing in urban black and white photos. Etienne Bouet aka EDA is a multi-faceted, protean and self-taught artist who left the music universe for graphic design.
Red XV's work is resolutely urban.The artists love the architecture of big towns, and combine this with their second best interest: skateboard. Graphic, geometric and dynamic creations, which tend to attract spectators. They take photos, do spray painting, scotch tape...Curious, intuitive and passionate, the two men have a unique, original and out of sync look. They use the same colors to bring some coherence among various works, Red XV stand out due to their strong artistic identity.
