Born March 24, 1985 in Toulouse (France), Julien Jaca is a painter who lives and works in Hossegor, on the Atlantic Coast in the South West of France. In 2012, after four years at the Beaux-Arts in Toulouse, he left to devote himself entirely to his budding career as an international tattoo artist. His extensive travels have made him experience the physicality of traditional arts and crafts, from which emanate a rare honesty, a pure spiritual and visual strength, he says.
In 2018, a specific event left an indelible mark on his life, both as a human being and as an artist, the impact of which still lingers in one of his early paintings titled The Only Photo I would never have you.
Since then, Jaca has devoted himself fully to art and pictorial experimentation, embarking on an uninterrupted creative journey of around a hundred paintings and drawings.
