Biography
Christine Guichard is a French artist. Despite studying graphic art, Guichard's contemporary practice specializes in engraving. She is most widely recognised for her metal engravings however, Guichard also experiments with linocut and engraving in wood or plastic to create her pieces. Her ink on paper works capitalize on the bold juxtaposition between black and white, creating pieces full of contrast.
Exhibitions of Guichard's works have taken place worldwide, including in Portugal, Spain, Argentina and Uruguay.
