Biography
Malika Mokadem was born in La Ciotat in 1973. She moved to San Francisco to study international marketing ... and she stayed there for 10 years. Just enough time to immerse herself in the culture of Edgar Alan Poe, Henry Miller and Anaïs Nin, she came back to the land of Baudelaire in 2003.
Her professional life has always revolved around the goal, being already a model, because this long haired brunette is incredibly photogenic, she worked as well as a photo stylist and as a photographer assistant ... Totally mesmerized by this subtle replicating mechanism, she finally succumbed to the temptation of telling her own stories by clicking on the trigger herself. Malika loves arousing emotions, making others smile, dream ... sometimes even cry.
Her model friends (Isa, Alex, Zoe, Cecilia, Nat, Julia) were muses and guinea pigs at same time, playing the game of hesitant experiences which at the end were never unskilful since they were capture by a naturally born artist. In addition, she is surrounded by artists who, feeling identified with her, have willingly opened the doors of their studios for her to come in and photograph their soul.
