Born in 1970, Shuck One is a graffiti artist from Guadeloupe. He lives and works in Paris.
Shuck One developed a taste for graffiti during early 80's while observing protesting inscriptions by West-Indian separatists. When he came to Paris, he joined the Hip Hop environment and began experimenting and creating his first works.
Shuck One founded two important groups DCM and Basalt, regrouping several Parisian street-artists. He was also the initiator of Graffic Artism which portrays the Street-art mind set on canvas. Therefore he created works through unidentified objects, testifying spontaneity, sensitiveness and the protesting spirit of street-artists.
Shuck-One's works are powerful and committing. He creates them in metros and on Parisian walls or even in foreign countries, which has made him world-famous today.
