Biography
After having travelled all over the planet as part of his employment, Christophe Tixier decides to change his way of life at forty years old by devoting himself to his passion for contemporary art in general, and for sculpture precisely.
"Having no artistic educational background, my approach to art is intuitive and empirical. I wanted to start from the simple principle that if one knows, since Marcel Duchamp, that Art has nothing to do with beauty, it is not obliged to insult it either. So I revisit the classical themes of figurative sculpture by adding a touch of modernity, in particular through the technique and the material."
