Born in the south of France, Lio is a multi-faceted and totally self-taught artist. Jazz drummer, he also decides to play with images.
He takes the virtual as his material and transforms his digital photos like a plastic artist, to create his Photopeintures ©. He seeks to introduce poetry and fantasy into it, but also to highlight social facts: poverty, urban turbulence, loneliness ...
Its goal is to reach people by offering them another perspective on reality, so that in turn, they can reinterpret it freely.
For him, it is essential that everyone sees HIS truth in art.
