Fred Kleinberg was born in 1966 in Paris, 1982 trained at the Ecole nationale supérieure des Beaux-Arts in Paris. He has exhibited his work as a painter since 1985 in Europe, the United States and Asia in collaboration with various galleries. His work is presented in private collections and public institutions.
Globetrotter artist, He has carried out several artist residencies: stay at the Villa Medici in Rome in 1996 in collaboration with the novelist Kits Hilaire, at the Museum of Contemporary Art in Moscow in 2001, Art Residence of Pondicherry in 2004 in India , in 2010 China in collaboration with the Hong Merchant Gallery in Shanghai and in 2018 within the University of Shantiniketan university in India. He has won several painting prizes: Coprim Foundation Prize in 2000, Taylor Foundation Prize 2008, Charles Oulmont Foundation Prize 2008 1st Prize for Contemporary Art in Monaco 2014. Fred Kleinberg lives and works in Paris.
