Denis Pochard is a French visual artist, born in 1956. He began with advertising and then became a self-taught artist.
He claims to be influenced by Dadaism and what he calls "Brop art", a mix of Brut Art and Pop Art. The artist's universe is influenced by Earth. Originally from Brittany, his works are a savant assembly of vegetables, minerals and organic materials, which he finds in his region, erected as a totem. The latter is then immortalized through photography, before time takes its toll, an artistic approach which renews still life. The artist's intervention might be faint, but it's essential to capture nature sophistication.
