Michel Zoghzoghi

Michel Zoghzoghi is a Lebanese photographer. He discovered his passion for photography during a polo tournament in London, when he was a businessman. Since then, he does not go anywhere without his camera. In 2006, he specialized in animal photography in wild environments, and traveled thousands of kilometers searching for the perfect image.

Michel Zoghzoghi photographs emblematic animals of the great outdoors, strong and powerful predators who are now in danger of extinction : tigers, lions, bears...The artist is committed, and wants to denounce the threat to all these species through his images. Man has become, according to him, the biggest predator on earth, and endangers biodiversity.
During his journeys in countries such as Kenya in Africa, Michel Zoghzoghi learned to live with wild animals, considered as danguerous (lions and tigers...) : He apprehends the laws of nature. Predation is an intrincic characteristic of these animals, to whom society wrongly attributes the human characteristics of cruelty and wickedness. Far from the zoos, Michel Zoghzoghi is confronted with the reality of a nature that surpasses us, and whose balance is threaten by man.
