José Manuel Merello is a contemporary Spanish painter born in Madrid in 1960. His style is Neo-Expressionist, with influences from Surrealism and Pop art. He considers himself heir to 20th century art with decisive influences from Matisse, Picasso, Van Gogh, Basquiat and many other artists interpreted in a current way, already in the 21st century. José Manuel Merello has been completely dedicated to painting for 40 years and his work appears in private collections around the world.
