Originally from Marseille, Cécile Pujol began her career in the world of entertainment and more particularly dance, creating costumes for different theaters, operas and ballets. The movement and fluidity of the dancers' gestures largely inspired her painting, to which she now devotes herself full time. “The love of colors and line is manifested in my painting navigating between inner impulses, with spontaneous gestures, brush strokes, scratches, and peaceful spaces. I like contrasts, duality. The “Circularities” series is a work on the symbolism of the circle, of perpetual, uninterrupted movement, infinity, unity, eternal beginnings…”
