Projekteria [Art Gallery] presents the first exhibition in Barcelona of the Portuguese artist Cláudio Garrudo. Trinus invites us to enrole on a journey in which the immensity and calm of the sea become a favorable framework for contemplation and reflection on the same act of traveling: traveling is living. Both the origin or the destination are not more important and the trip itself. The exhibition consists of double exposure photographs and a video piece captured from different parts of the ship. Where it seemed that the monotony seized the trip, Garrudo was attentive to capture all the nuances of a sea that, in reality, might not only be the sea, but a pretext for, through contemplation, to reach other introspective readings and projections.
