Fabian Solymar DAGOR is a Hungarian-Venezuelan artist currently based in Caracas, Venezuela who has dedicated himself to drawing and painting since the age of 12 starting with traditional Graffiti and later making interventions in the streets with large fonts under the signature of DAGOR. Over time he has established himself as a leading figure in Venezuelan Street Art, translating his research into geometric abstraction and typography.
DAGOR deconstructs iconic languages of representation and thus his works constitute a universe of reductionist abstraction which echoes the visual languages of modernity while also inserting itself in a deeply contemporary geometry. His research is transported to paintings on canvas, wood assemblage and Muralist interventions. For DAGOR Muralism plays a very important role in his practice, he believes fervently in the positive impact of public art on the culture and welfare of people, creating spaces that can offer a sense of community, places for contemplation and spaces to cement identities.
DAGOR has participated in international festivals of Muralism such as Meeting Of Style in Ecuador, various festivals in the United States, Wynwood and Art Basel Miami in Florida, as well as live painting shows and Murals in several European cities including London. He has also participated in various group and individual shows in Venezuela and overseas while painting murals in Caracas, Barinas, Miami, Brooklyn, Quito, Mexico City as part of a project with the United Nations in the largest mural gallery in the world. His most recent Muralist project has been a collaboration in a social project in the biggest neighbourhood of Latin America, Petare where political propaganda was replaced by more than 12 murals that had the goal of creating a public trail. DAGOR realised this project with the direct participation of the community, generating a sense of belonging in the local people and in the spaces they have now recovered.
“Integrating the values from colours or luminosity allows me to obtain volumetric shapes through the amount of darkness and light perceived for each piece based on its color, altering it with the addition of white or black, searching the meeting of light and shade, all with the aim of creating impossible volumes. This impossibility allows me to play with the viewer's perspective, the vision of the viewer as they interpret what they see becomes decisive for the objective of the work, showing the end result of an objectified idea and emotion that depend on personal perception of the observer."

Can I negotiate the price of an artwork?
For some artworks, you can negotiate the price. If the price of the work is negotiable, you have a “Make an offer” button under the “Buy this work” one.
To submit your offer, you must make a payment of the desired amount. Your offer will then be forwarded to the gallery, which reserves the right to accept or reject it. If your offer is accepted, it means that your order is confirmed by the gallery and they will prepare the artwork for shipment. If your offer is rejected, you will be refunded the total amount paid automatically. The gallery can also propose a counter-offer for the acquisition of the artwork.

Where can I have my order delivered?
Artsper delivers worldwide!
However, please note that once your order reaches its destination, it may be subject to VAT or other customs fees. These charges are beyond our control and you will be responsible for paying them (this is indicated at the ‘checkout’ first step).
Select the delivery address of your choice. Please make sure that someone is present to receive your order.
If your billing address is different to your delivery address you can specify this at the checkout.
Return and cancellation
You can return the artwork without needing to provide a reason or pay a penalty fee up to 14 days after receiving your order.
In the case that the right of withdrawal is exercised in the aforementioned time frame, the price of the artwork(s) purchased and the shipping costs will be reimbursed by us as soon as the gallery has received the artwork and notified us.
Artsper will manage the return of the work and will bear the cost of returns (which will either be paid by you and refunded by Artsper or directly paid by Artsper).
The artwork must be returned in perfect condition and in its original packaging (or equivalent).
