An illustrator who lets his imagination run wild in every stroke, every line and every colour of his creations, producing illustrations full of life and tenderness that transcend the paper and touch the hearts of those who look at them. He holds a Higher Technical Diploma in Early Childhood Education and a Bachelor's Degree in Fine Arts. He also has a Master's Degree in Secondary Education, specialising in Drawing. Quiel is a multidisciplinary artist who illustrates, paints, models, carves, writes... and a thousand other things that make him someone who is always trying to improve and grow as a person, first and foremost, and as a visual artist, secondly, or vice versa. He is a creator who, like children, keeps alive within himself that innocent gaze that makes him experience everyday things as if for the first time. He began his career as an illustrator in 2015 and has not stopped illustrating books since. He has already published some 35 books. He continues to work on very interesting projects, which he combines with his work as a painter, taking his illustrations to other formats and media, and exhibiting in galleries and specialised art centres. He is a professional draughtsman, painter and illustrator who loves to share his life, his dreams, his concerns and his knowledge with all those who love art.
