Artwork sold in perfect condition

Artwork location: United States

I have introduced some white in my paintings for a short time, returning to a 2000 style. This one, named "Working the Line," parallels the movie "Walking the Line" Those abstract shapes, bubbles, flowers, and crystal bowls, dancing between the lines, hiding behind an imaginary tree, express total freedom. This piece comes with an official certificate of authenticity signed by the artist. Ready to Hang. Signature Location: Edge.

Presentation

Artist Statement:

“The sky is not always green, the grass not always blue, the clouds not always purple, the sun not always red. Through my art, I am trying to convey a colorfully rich and warm atmosphere that explodes with vivid colors and balances with a harmony of curves and shapes. I aim to create a fluid melody.“

“While I don't seek out to set themes, my work, primarily abstract, does naturally contain repeated symbols or ideas such as generosity, love, humor, fantasy, sound, and spirit. In addition, my paintings showcase powerful emotions, vibrant colors, and thoughtful expressions of human complexity.“

Education:

B.A. of Arts at Columbia College, Chicago.

Artistic Influences:

My artistic influence has been living in the heart of Paris, Montparnasse which became famous in the 1920s, referred to as les Années Folles (the Crazy Years), and the 1930s as the heart of intellectual and artistic life in Paris. I also spent my youth vacationing in Provence, next to Avignon, searching for beauty in nature, in people, in music. My favorite artists are Vincent Van Gogh, Joan Miró, Wassily Kandinsky, Gerhard Richter, Camille Pissaro, Paul Gauguin, Henri Matisse, Nikolai Suetin, Kurt Schwitters, Fernand Leger, Amadeo Modigliani, Pablo Picasso, Jürgen Klauke, Jean Dubuffet, Willi Baumeister, Nicolas de Staël, André Lanskoy, André Masson and Paul klee.
