This piece makes me think of letters and curves billowing in the wind. Sides are painted, so no frame is necessary. The painting is ready to hang. Painting is on stretched canvas, stapled on the back. Gloss varnish is applied to seal and protect the painting. Presentation
Artist Statement:
I am contemporary abstract painter .
I was born in Pilsen, Czech Republic. As a child, I lived partly in Bonn, Germany, in adulthood then in Prague, and USA. Today I live and work again in city Pilsen, Czech Republic.
Since 2007 I have been painting under the supervision of the academic painter Mgr. Jakes in Art Academy. Then I completed several painting courses, for example course by Jan Merta is most famous contemporary painter in Czech Republic.
I focus mainly on geometric abstraction and surrealism.
My works are represented in collections in the USA, Austria, Germany, Italy, France, Czech Republic.
My artworks are paited acrylic on canvas, renowned of their vibrant colour schemes, and a dedication to the geometric shapes often with hard edge. Artworks are identified as the search for harmony, energy and the mystery of the creation process, where the connection of abstraction with geometry and design plays a key role. I compare the process of painting with alchemy, where I project and transmitmy imagination, dreams and it's a kind of meditation for me.
