Didier Colomès, painter, France
Didier Colomès has spent his entire career in the field of communication, advertising, design, events. This is where he put his sense of the image and his art of playing with words to good use. Thus, it is a skin-deep sensitivity that he expresses himself in an eclectic way through painting, writing and music.
Painter, Didier Colomès has always sought new materials to express his emotions: in 1995, he perfected a process of oil painting on glass and organized the first exhibition of paintings on bottles, in Paris. "Rhapsody in Navy Blue" an exhibition on the theme of water and the sea.
In 2010, he developed a technique of oil painting on tissue paper mounted on wood: a sensitive process with material and color effects that exalt the subjects treated. Portraits of India and portraits of musicians.
These works are then the subject of an exhibition called "Le Temps d'un Soir". It is a colorful happening produced in a dance studio. A real osmosis between the paintings, the place, the musicians and the dancers from the Tamil school of Paris came to animate the event.
Since 2021, Didier Colomès has joined the Intensity Group, Exhibition Laboratory, Artist Incubator under the direction of Olivier Khal to experiment with new pictorial approaches.
In December 2021, he presents the exhibition "l'Âme de Fonds" a palette of the colors of time over the course of his emotions at the Exhibition Laboratory of the Intensity group.
In January 2022 Publication of his first novel "Les Cordes à l'Ame". Available in bookstores and on Fnac, Amazon, Cultura websites.
