Denise "Nouna" studied at the École Superieure des Arts Modernes in Paris. After working as a designer, she joins Myriam Franck's sculpture studio, where she experiments with different artistic styles.
She work for "Art Tempo", an agency that creates "artistic trophies", and continues to pursue her own practice.
She signs several pieces inspired by advertising photography. She also sculpts academic nudes, but her origins draw her to less rigid forms of creation like primitive and African art. this is when she decided to sign her works with her middle name, Nouna.
