Passionate about the Martial Arts that he practices since childhood, Daniel You paints the body and the spirit in motion. Naked bodies possessed by torment and ecstasy, marked by mythological references and mystics, composing a powerful, sensual and carnal work.
After his debut in advertising, then in events, he was discovered in 1989 by the couturier Pierre Cardin who takes him under his wing and allows him to exhibit in many countries: China, Vietnam, United States, Switzerland, Belgium...
Painter, sculptor, illustrator and French-Vietnamese designer, Daniel goes in search of his origins and travel for 15 years especially in Asia. The chameleon artist has also designed furniture collections edited in limited series, made advertising clips, co-wrote a musical comedy he designed the sets, created one of the 6 flags of tolerance for UNESCO and held several roles in the cinema including Henry's in Othello Khanh's film, Saigon Eclipse in 2007.
