Presentation

Malagasy by birth, she has dual nationality, Franco-Malagasy, Noro Vololona Rajaoson Feuvrier comes from a family of professors at the University of Antananarivo in Madagascar. From his childhood and adolescence in Antananarivo, Noro has kept the memories of the bright colors of the Antananarivo market. From the cheerfulness of the Malagasy people, she inherited that joyful side that characterizes her art. His master's degree in Anglo-Irish Studies (Paris Sorbonne Nouvelle) gave him a taste for travel and allowed him to survey the various museums in European countries.

Although she lives in Burgundy, she visits Madagascar once every two years. Every year she travels to Ireland, England and Spain. She likes to seek her inspiration at the National Gallery of Ireland in Dublin where she had the chance to listen to specialists explain the famous works of the National Gallery of Ireland. His favorite museum in Spain is the Picasso Museum in Barcelona.

His meeting with an art teacher in 2006, Didier Dessus, allowed him to learn about oil painting. Noro took plastic arts courses in specific oil painting techniques for 6 years. She also followed two years of art history with Marlène Gossmann. Visual arts courses taught in collaboration with the National Higher School of Dijon Noro has found its visual identity in the use of bright colors in his works.

In his painting, each color is like a piece of a puzzle, at one point the pieces fit together. His painting is intuitive and spontaneous. She wants to achieve circles and geometric shapes that are harmonious and bright thanks to her mastery of colors. We can also qualify his art as abstract art and certainly a mixture of Fauvism and abstract art. She likes to represent female figures in her works. She is in search of her identity, she has evolved between several cultures.

Since November 2020 she has created her bilingual Instagram account in French and English. She wanted to show her universe in full color to make the spectator smile in this difficult context linked to the health crisis. She is fortunate to come across a caring community of artists on Instagram who follow her regularly through her publications of works day after day.

The artists who have influenced his art are Sonia Delaunay, Wassily Kandinski, Paul Klee, Frida Kahlo, David Hockney, Marc Chagall, Dali, Pablo Picasso and Edward Hopper.
