Chlo Hej

Growing up, Chlo Hej was always drawn to the visual arts, which she considered the most natural means of expression. Later she studied plastic arts in high school, then went to university to study art history and later obtained a master's degree in architecture (studied in Tours, Paris, Denmark and Grenoble) . These school years helped her to develop her sight, and to start working on the subject of nature and humans.

After 5 years of practicing architecture, she began painting full-time in 2018, painting a steady production of commissioned and serial paintings, murals and other products.

Chloé's current work is based on a search for harmony between nature and its observer. Through its patterns, colors, silhouettes and mandalas, Chloé's paintings are the expression of a waking dream, where man is in total harmony with his environment. Like the surfer who becomes one with the wave or the hiker who merges with his path.

His paintings want to be both joyful, natural, introspective. Based on quantum physics and her spiritual work, Chloé's work is recognized in another way by the use of points, which she likes to call "metaphor for the emptiness yet full that surrounds us".

Her work is guided by the intention to make visible the creative energies that manifest in the unknown and the unseen, but which connect us all together. Leaving aside any preconceived ideas when she paints, Chlo Hej lets part of her art create itself.
