Neesha Khan's body of work focus on her love and understanding of the natural environment, the wild and the love and understanding she developed for the animal kingdom as a whole. In her many stays in India, where she travelled from childhood, she mastered the skills in equitation. She started to be fascinated by the stallions and researched deeply into their lives and wellbeing. ' Horses have an intense connection with the humans.' the artist explain' ' They can calm and soothe" their behaviour around humans proven to be helpful in psychology and anxiety treatments. Respect, love and amazing panting skills make Neesha an exquisite artist.
Neesha has experimented using different mediums and has found oils and charcoal to be her best medium to handle to express a vision and convey the purity of lights with shadows by using her fingertips to navigate and handle the charcoal particles. The artist expresses in her figure drawings using charcoal in the traditional Baroque style of drawing as these best interplays the lights and dark intense shadows which satisfy her soul, giving a therapeutic experience whilst drawing. Her work has been exhibited in UK, India and sold worldwide.
