George Alexander (1990, Katy, Texas, USA) lives and works in Santa Fe. He studied at the Institute of American Indian Arts in Santa Fe, New Mexico, and subsequently he achieved a Master of Fine Arts at SACI in Florence, Italy. His style is a combination of comics and realism, making it a hybrid style where well-defined elements dialogue with other ones apparently more rough. His main themes are man's identity and his relationship with other people and the world, aspects that have been originated from belonging to a Native American Tribe.
He is collaborating with numerous spaces for contemporary art, including The King Galleries in Santa Fe, NM and The Rainmaker Gallery in Bristol, UK - with which he has participated in the group show The Young Americans in 2019 – and Questa è l'acqua, double solo exhibition at Accaventiquattro Gallery in Prato, Italy, 2019. His first solo show was Ponder at SACI, Florence, Italy, 2019.
