Marcelo de León is a Uruguayan artist who began painting scenarios of the Old City, passing the customs and culture of the Uruguayan through art.
Among his most representative works are scenes of Tango and Candombe, customs that are part of the intangible cultural heritage and which characterize the city of Montevideo.
It is also noted in their works the architecture of the Old City and its diversity of styles, facades, columns, doors, gates, lights, and fountains.
