Joo Yeon Judy Yang

Judy Yang 1982, Séoul, Corée du Sud, a fréquenté la School of the Art Institute of Chicago pour son BFA en peinture et dessin, le Maryland Institute College of Art pour son certificat post-baccalauréat, a étudié la gravure en se concentrant sur une gravure à l'Art Student League of New York pendant trois ans et Pratt Institute pour sa maîtrise en peinture. 

Elle a exposé ses œuvres aux États-Unis. Ses expositions les plus récentes incluent "Hidden in Plain Sight", Oh art foundation, Chicago, Illinois (2019), "Tiny Acts Topple Empires", The Woskob Family Gallery, State College, Pennsylvanie (2018), "Unsettled, The Korean Cultural Center New York, New York (2016), « Underline: recent works by Judy Yang », et Whitebox Art Space, New York (2015), « A Politics of Drawing : Proposal for a Method of Transformation » Barbara Walters Gallery, Bronxville, New York (2014), et Skidmore Contemporary Art Gallery, Santa Monica, Californie (2014). 

Yang a été récipiendaire de la Full Fellowship, du Vermont Studio Center (2013) et de l'Endangered Art and Photograph, 1er prix du Fine Art , Miami, Floride (2013) Joo Yeon Judy Yang vit à Long Island City, New York.
