A Journey Through Contemporary European Abstraction & Expressionism
Art Gotham New York is delighted to announce the upcoming exhibition Europe
ArtNow, a powerful and emotionally charged survey of the contemporary European
art scene. Curated by the internationally acclaimed artist Alexandra Mas, the exhibition will open on May 1st and run through June 5th, 2025.
Focusing on the core elements of abstraction and expressionism, this group show
unites influential European artists whose works pulse with the profound energy and
depth that define the continent’s artistic spirit.
Under the esteemed guidance of Galeries Hohenthal und Bergen from Germany,
Laurence Pustetto from France, and Peter Hopkins from the United States, the exhibition spotlights several pivotal figures shaping today’s art scene. Among the standout artists featured are:
Winnie DENKER – Renowned for her evocative photographic works that explore
time, memory, and architectural grandeur.
Haralampi G. OROSCHAKOFF – A key figure in contemporary European art
whose spiritual and geopolitical reflections merge Eastern and Western sensibilities.
Dodi Reifenberg – Recognized for his textured, conceptual collages that contemplate
identity, sustainability, and the fragmented modern world.
Bernard BEZZINA – Celebrated for his influential presence in major international
collections and his recent monumental sculpture in Monaco’s dynamic urban landscape.
Bernard GARO – A Swiss artist with a remarkably dynamic career in the plastic arts,
spanning from the Shanghai Biennale to Nord Art. His work has been honoured
through prestigious museum retrospectives in his native country and multiple international art film awards.
Europe ArtNow invites viewers into a rich dialogue between form, emotion, and
meaning, offering a vibrant and evolving perspective on the visual languages of contemporary European art.

Adélaïde LEFERME, painter and visual artist, holds a degree from the École des Beaux-Arts and combines her talents as an interior architect and cultural engineer. Her numerous travels around the world, along with her constant and
meticulous observations of everyday life, have enabled her to develop a profound understanding of the themes she explores with passion: a mythology of the everyday, which she depicts in a style that is both figurative and dreamlike.
Through refined mixed techniques, blending gold leaf and precious pigments, she reinvents mystical landscapes and acid-tinged portraits, infusing a subtle contemporary aesthetic that enhances the singularity of her subjects. Her works aim to awaken consciousness on contemporary issues while creating an aesthetic reflection.
Convinced that an artwork fully comes to life through the gaze of its observer, the artist seeks to establish an open dialogue, where exchange and sharing flourish within a universe of light and color.
