Artistes Neerlandais
Dans le port d'Amsterdam, y a pas que des marins qui chantent… la scène artistique est en effervescence. Dans le sillon de Jérôme Bosch, Rubens, Van Gogh ou encore Rembrandt… la jeune garde de l'art contemporain perpétue l'ardeur artistique de la Venise hollandaise. Dignes héritiers des anciens, les artistes d'aujourd'hui réinventent la légende en s'affranchissant des codes classiques et en déployant une créativité exacerbée… Ils partagent le goût pour l'insolite, la poésie et le décalé en se plaçant en dehors de la raison, au-delà des normes, mais toujours au centre de nos interpellations.
Dans la lignée de l'École hollandaise, la création contemporaine rompt avec l'art de la Renaissance italienne en décryptant « la vie vivante, l'homme, ses mœurs, ses occupations, ses joies, ses caprices… C'est tout simplement l'art pour l'homme » (Bürger).
À partir du XXème siècle, Mondrian, de Kooning, ou Marlene Dumas redonnent un second souffle qui ébranle le marché de l'art aujourd'hui. Design, photo, installation, dessin… autant d'oeuvres dont la côte n'est pas prête de s'essouffler.
