Françoise Abraham developed a unique style, essentially sculpting women recognizable by their forms that are both taut and rounded, combining elegance, sensuality and humor.
Biography
Françoise Abraham is a French sculptor born in 1962.
A former professional dancer, Françoise Abraham started practicing art until the birth of her twins. Her sculptures are the product of these two little demanding jobs, her search for movement, balance, femininity and the tireless race of women's lives.
Her pieces are a tribute to maternity, frivolous and full of joy. All of Françoise Abraham's sculptures convey a message of hope and optimism. For the artist this is a way to celebrate the body, just as she used to do it when she danced.
