Lovers of art, history, and timeless beauty, rejoice! The Feng Shang Gallery is privileged to present an exceptional exhibition: porcelain treasures from Direct from the legendary Housen Museum in Jingdezhen.

Jingdezhen: Much more than a city, a living legend.

For over 1,700 years, this Jiangxi city has been the undisputed porcelain capital of China, if not the world. Nicknamed "the City of Heavenly Furnaces" (昌南, Chang Nan), its name is synonymous with perfection, innovation, and expertise passed down from generation to generation. It was here that the "white gold" (kaolin) was crafted into masterpieces that conquered imperial courts and enchanted the globe, making Chinese porcelain an object of unparalleled fascination and commerce.

The Exhibition: A Journey to the Housen Museum
The Housen Museum (厚森博物馆), the precious guardian of this heritage in Jingdezhen, opens its reserves for us. This unique exhibition at the Feng Shang Gallery invites you to discover:

Rare historical pieces testifying to the heyday of the Ming and Qing dynasties.
The unparalleled finesse of "blue and white" (青花, qīng huā) and the splendor of "famille rose" (粉彩, fěn cǎi) and "famille verte" (五彩, wǔ cǎi) enamels.
The incredible diversity of shapes and decorations that have made Jingdezhen world-renowned. The soul of a thousand-year-old craft preserved in the city of kilns.

Come and experience the magic of Jingdezhen!

Let yourself be transported by the elegance, history, and technical virtuosity of these porcelains that have survived the centuries. It's a rare immersion into the beating heart of Chinese ceramic art.

See you from September 4th at the Feng Shang Gallery!

Don't miss this unique opportunity to admire exceptional pieces, ambassadors of the "Capital of Porcelain."
