Galerie Feng Shang is pleased to present "Impression, China," the first solo exhibition in France by the Chinese artist Lu Ma (马陆), originally from Nanjing.
Through a series of oil paintings and mixed media techniques, Lu Ma offers a singular vision of the Chinese landscape, where majestic mountains fragment into geometric facets and vibrant textures. His work explores the meeting between Chinese pictorial tradition – notably the shanshui art – and the contemporary languages of Western abstraction. The deep colors, impasto, and plays of light lend his canvases a dreamlike and spiritual dimension, inviting the viewer on an inner journey between East and West.
"Impression, China" is an invitation to discover a powerful and poetic work that questions memory, nature, and man's place in a changing world.
