Biography
Jose Rozalem (Madrid, 2002) is a visual artist whose work addresses new digital media in relation to traditional artistic practices such as sculpture, generating encounters between the digital and the physical. He investigates the relationship between the immateriality of the digital universe and the material reality. This leads him to propose affective-poetic reflections on technology, leveraging its speculative nature to imagine new hybridizations with the virtual realm. His practice pays special attention to the contemporary hypermediation of memory, identity, digital imagery, and affectivity. Using 3D modeling and printing, photogrammetry, creative programming, and sculpture, he constructs installations that transform physical space into an interpretation of the digital environment.
Graduated in Fine Arts and Design from Universidad Francisco de Vitoria (2025), he is currently pursuing a Master's in Art and Creation Research at Universidad Complutense de Madrid. In 2024, he worked as a studio assistant for artists Ángel Haro and Javier de Juan. His work has been exhibited at Espacio Nébula (, 2024), JustMad art fair (2025), Estudio Nebot (, 2026—where he is a member and manager), and Espacio Plomo. Since June 2026, he has been represented by La Llave Studio gallery.
