Description
A black and precise line structures this singular portrait.
The marker defines sharp contours on an immaculate white background.
The gaze immediately attracts attention.
Roots escape from the eyes to invade the cheeks.
This organic network transforms the face into an inner landscape.
The artist allows complex forms to emerge from spontaneous lines.
The work relies on a balance between initial chaos and graphic precision.
The fleshy lips privilege the lower part of the face, contrasting with the fragmentation of the gaze.
The ornamental framing brings a ritual dimension to the composition.
Each hatching reinforces the depth and relief of the features.
This composition mixes human anatomy with vegetal elements.
The final rendering favors a radical contrast between the deep black and the clarity of the support.

Presentation
FROM CHAOS TO THE LIVING BEING
When I paint or draw, I start from chaos, I begin to paint spontaneously simple elements, forms, lines, surfaces arranged without preconceived ideas on the canvas. These elements intertwine, associate and give birth to complex forms. I reveal then by drawing on this bottom: figures, members, bodies, objects.
This creates diversified characters, which come from the chaos and inscribe their reality. It is a spontaneous, physical and spiritual act.
