Dake Wang Qi   New & remarkable Artists

This composition explores the rebirth and fragility of nature. The eye is first drawn to stylized trees, their branches rising with a sense of lightness. Yellow and golden hues dominate the upper section, rendered with fine, delicate lines that evoke the emergence of spring.

The artist employs a mixed-media technique, combining watercolor, pigments, and pencil on a linden wood panel mounted with hemp paper. The execution is precise, with layers of transparency creating an ethereal depth. The ground transforms into a watery mirror, where touches of green and blue intertwine, forming a dreamlike garden. Light appears to emanate from the center of the scene.

The color palette remains soft, with a neutral background that accentuates the contrast of the botanical tones. The movement of the lines suggests a vital breath—a poetic approach that turns the landscape into a space for contemplation. The final result highlights a balance between technical rigor and imagination. The work is finished with a discreet signature and date in the bottom right corner.
