Description
This captivating work features a full-length mannequin, vibrant with vibrant colour and artistic energy. The elegant silhouette is covered in dynamic brushstrokes in a bold palette of reds, greens, blacks, oranges and whites. Each hue blends harmoniously, creating a striking contrast that draws the eye. The paint seems to flow and blend over the body, evoking both movement and emotion. The clever use of orange on one arm contrasts strikingly with the other colours, emphasising the visual impact of the whole. The splashes around the canvas add an extra dimension of raw, spontaneous energy. This mix of colours and textures transforms a simple figure into a striking artistic statement, engaging the viewer to contemplate the fusion of the abstract and the figurative.
Presentation
Born in 1965 in the Netherlands, Caroline Vis offers abstract expressionist paintings, she lets herself be guided by her passion for color, movement and certain geometric landmarks.
Caroline Vis is I-CAC registered, I-CAC Certificate No.022/3190.
His works are often large format, inspired by his own feelings following interviews, readings, documentaries or events relating to the injustice of the world: "I painted my way from sorrow to total happiness". She uses different compositions, colors and shapes, trying to capture the many ideas that appear in her surroundings and in her head.
Beginning to offer her Art to collectors at the beginning of 2014, she has created many paintings in search of a technique that best represents her. She met many artists and masters and followed their advice to gradually develop her own technique.
At present Caroline Vis is present in several international virtual galleries in Europe, the United States, Asia and the emirates.
Caroline moved to France in 2017 and in 2022 she opened her contemporary art gallery in Ploubazlanec, in Côtes-d'Armor, Brittany.
