Description
Caroline Vis's latest creation is a striking work, rich in cracks, movement, splashes, and delicate lines. She embraces each challenge with passion, constantly pushing the boundaries of her artistic expression.
In , Caroline transforms the fading light of day into pure abstraction. This 300 × 120 cm work stretches like the sky itself—vast, luminous, irreversible. It does not represent the sun; it dissolves into its warmth.
Through sweeping gestures and highly pigmented acrylics, the painting radiates hues of amber, coral, blood orange, gold, and faded pink. But at the heart of this warmth reigns a calm. A discreet pulse. The serenity that follows a fully realized light.
Layer upon layer—from vibrant acrylics to golden powders and shimmering pigments—every detail of this impressive work has been crafted with extreme care. Whether displayed vertically or horizontally, it exudes a profound and timeless elegance.
Ideal for large spaces—hotels, private collections, cultural venues—it provides a window of color and light. It fills the space without words, without form. Just atmosphere.
Presentation
Born in 1965 in the Netherlands, Caroline Vis offers abstract expressionist paintings, she lets herself be guided by her passion for color, movement and certain geometric landmarks.
Caroline Vis is I-CAC registered, I-CAC Certificate No.022/3190.
His works are often large format, inspired by his own feelings following interviews, readings, documentaries or events relating to the injustice of the world: "I painted my way from sorrow to total happiness". She uses different compositions, colors and shapes, trying to capture the many ideas that appear in her surroundings and in her head.
Beginning to offer her Art to collectors at the beginning of 2014, she has created many paintings in search of a technique that best represents her. She met many artists and masters and followed their advice to gradually develop her own technique.
At present Caroline Vis is present in several international virtual galleries in Europe, the United States, Asia and the emirates.
Caroline moved to France in 2017 and in 2022 she opened her contemporary art gallery in Ploubazlanec, in Côtes-d'Armor, Brittany.
