Description
This artwork immediately captures attention with its bold use of bright, contrasting colors. Two abstract figures dominate the composition, each with a distorted, expressive face punctuated by bold black lines. These silhouettes, despite their apparent simplicity, possess a rich graphic complexity, thanks to layered patterns and dynamic visual texture. The vibrant yellow and green backgrounds amplify the visual intensity, creating an energetic dialogue between the forms. The artist skillfully manipulates lines and curves to evoke a modern, stylized imagery that intrigues and engages the viewer. This piece, a cross between art brut and surrealism, offers a bold interpretation of human figures, transcending traditional conventions to offer a unique and captivating visual experience.
Presentation
SmaK-titi is a French self-taught street artist. He discovered street art in USA during the 90's in New York and Chicago. This is when his initial work was exhibited on Broadway avenue. He then moved to France.
Smak-titi's universe revolves around pop art and raw art. It's filled with imaginary and colored characters, with unique personalities. Bright fluorescent colors put dynamism and depth in the limelight.
Smak-titi has moved back to France and regularly exhibits there but also in European galleries.
