Description
A sovereign presence emerges from the canvas — a white horse with a celestial mane, painted in rich oils on 100% cotton canvas. The layers of teal, gold and amber breathe with an energy that is both primal and luminous.
This unique work is signed recto and verso in gold oil paint. The verso bears a handwritten message from the artist — an intimate inscription that forms an integral and poetic part of the artwork itself.
Delivered in a premium USBox frame, with a Lifetime Guarantee covering maintenance, restoration, and design consulting. Complimentary worldwide shipping, dispatched from the studio within 24–48 hours.
Artist Mariem Mekni — Abstract Art Gallery, Riga
Presentation
Maria Ruisi is a contemporary artist whose work explores balance, light, and depth through abstraction and wall sculpture. Her pieces reside at the boundary between painting and sculpture, where matter comes alive to dialogue with architectural space.
Trained in arts and design in Latvia, Maria Ruisi develops a rigorous practice informed by her background in engineering and visual perception research. This dual approach provides her work with a powerful contemporary presence and profound aesthetic coherence. Each creation is a unique, hand-crafted piece, where sculpted reliefs and pigments interact with light to reveal subtle variations throughout the day. Designed as silent presences, her works enhance prestigious environments, ranging from private collections to interior design and luxury hospitality projects.
