Description
This abstract composition plays on a marked contrast between geometric rigor and spontaneity. The structure is organized around blocks of bright colors. Yellow, pink, and fuchsia respond to each other in an architectural arrangement. These colored areas bring clarity and visual stability to the whole.
Over this order, black ink lines come to break the symmetry. The gestures are fast. The projections and scratches cross the surface with raw energy. This dialogue between controlled form and free movement creates captivating visual tension.
The technique mixes acrylic and ink to vary the textures. The rendering oscillates between saturated flat areas and the transparency of the lines. The white background accentuates the luminosity of the pigments and highlights the precision of the line.
The balance rests on the opposition of line and surface. This approach recalls research on color and abstract expressionism. The piece ends with black splatters that stretch downwards on the support.

Presentation

Surrounded by artists in her family who were able to pass on to her the passion for creation, she grew up surrounded by works that were sometimes complex but also very endearing.

"My creative process begins with drawing, color and creative freedom, developing paintings through play and experimentation. I have a passion for painting landscapes, reflections in water and the sky.

I believe that a painting, an oil, a watercolour or as here pastels, can only really work if the initial drawing or idea has a strong compositional form. I have spent many hours studying artists such as Monet and Van Gogh as well as Art Nouveau.

My love of color is evident in all my works, it is always a joy to discover a vibrant color with its ability to give rise to works that are sometimes abstract or even unidentifiable, and therefore just for the pleasure of contemplation.

In general, my works present an intense use of colors, giving full life to the subject and engaging the spectator to enter a world apart, where the imagination holds a preponderant place."
