Description
The oil spreads here generously. The material dominates the composition. Swaths of deep blue contrast with the clarity of an immaculate white.
The brush traces areas of clear colors. A soft green invites itself at the top of the canvas, evoking nature. Shades of powdered pink soften the center of the painting.
The abstraction borders on figuration. An upward movement is discernible. The composition plays on masses and voids.
The balance arises from the opposition between dark areas and light areas. A gray silhouette anchors the lower part, while the rest of the canvas seems to lighten.
Presentation
Graduated from ICART (Institut des Carrières Artistiques) in 1984. Painting restorer and painter. Bronze medal from the Académie Arts-Sciences-Lettres Paris 2021. Prize for Abstract Expression from the École de la Loire (AIEL) in 2022 and 2023.
Exhibitions in Paris, Senlis, Toulouse, Limoges, Le Puy-en-Velay, Boulogne-Billancourt.
Mainly abstract, but always on the verge of figuration, Claire de Noinville's work is a joyful explosion, a bouquet from which nature, its forces, its movements, its anger too, escape.
Her art is cosmic and human at the same time, interior, without artifice.
