Description
This is an acrylic painting on canvas signed by the artist Enzo SAN MARCO, measuring 73 x 54 cm, mounted on a frame, ready to hang, painted edges, protective varnish, unique, Certificate of Authenticity.
Enzo SAN MARCO is an Italian artist born in 1992 in Puglia, an adherent of abstract, colorful, geometric, minimalist, and conceptual painting - He studied colorimetry and the symbolism of forms and colors at the School of Fine Arts in Foggia - In his pictorial work, he seeks to establish an interaction between forms and colors, all within a millimeter composition. In this work, he is inspired by the Latin phrase Ordo Ab Chao (Order from chaos) to conceptualize human construction from a mass of colors.
The pictorial approach here relies on a rigorous study of colorimetry. The artist explores the opposition and complementarity of hues to structure the space. The eye travels through an orchestrated geometric composition. Central rhombuses oppose each other by color, creating an immediate visual dynamic. Red and yellow dominate the heart of the canvas. They are balanced by blue and green areas arranged on the periphery. The use of acrylic allows for a sharp rendering. Straight lines and marked angles evoke human construction and architectural rigor. Each colored segment functions as a visual code. The whole suggests an organized, almost mathematical movement, where spirituality is born from the assembly of forms. This abstract canvas, created in 2026, plays on stark contrasts to rhythm the flat surface. It is composed of blocks of primary and secondary colors delimited by precise outlines.

Presentation
Enzo SAN MARCO is a Franco-Italian painter and photographer, born on September 10, 1992 in Bari, Puglia, southern Italy - He followed an academic training in chromatology at the Institute of Fine Arts in Foggia - Individual exhibitions in 2012 in San Severo, San Giovani Rotondo, and collective exhibitions in Sorrento and Bari - He managed the family business for 12 years then in 2024, decided to leave for the south of France following a family event and took up the brushes again - For him, pictorial art, even abstract and especially abstract, is above all a question of choice of composition, shapes and colors, in their opposition and their complementarity - Fascinated by the artistic universe of Mondrian (Primary Colors), Kandinsky (Shapes) and Vermeer (Composition), he studies the color wheel and considers that each shape or color has its own spirituality, and that their assembly, infinitely and randomly modifiable, would be like an alphanumeric code - In each of his paintings, he tries to create a composition of complementary shapes and colors, giving movement while breaking the lines: the rounded shapes symbolizing movement, continuity and Nature, while the angular shapes symbolize structure and Human construction.
