Description
This bold work harmoniously juxtaposes abstraction and photography. A black-and-white landscape of branches traverses the image, highlighting a striking contrast. Two smooth, organic red forms, marked by imperfect symmetry, appear to float above and below this monochrome band. The use of vivid red evokes a visual intensity that immediately captures attention, while the black and white of the branches introduces a contemplative depth, combining nature and abstraction. The spatial arrangement and choice of colors create a dynamic tension between the elements, inviting the viewer to explore the subtleties of the composition. This work is distinguished by its ability to seamlessly and engagingly merge two distinct visual languages.
Technique and support: Glossy photo paper print, glued onto cardboard 50 x 40 cm, unframed.
