Description
The 1999 Ladbroke Grove rail crash near London resulted in 31 fatalities after a commuter train ran a red signal and hit a high-speed service head-on. In the immediate, chaotic aftermath of the collision, early media speculation inflated the casualties, with newspaper famously reporting a feared death toll of 100 people.
30x40cm fine art print with a built-in 5cm white border. Tirage en 30x40cm avec marge prévue pour passe partout, la photo mesure donc en fenêtre intérieur 20x30cm.
Presentation
Dorly Ninio is a photographer and film editor whose work focuses on street and documentary photography. She lived and photographed in London during the 2000s, producing photo essays for published articles in England, and later moved to New York City where she built a career editing documentary films. Alongside her work as an editor, she never stopped photographing. Her images are mainly documentary in nature, capturing incidental unposed moments as personal, observational daily records of her immediate surroundings. She is currently based in Paris.
