Presentation

Hélène Labadie is an artist and object designer she lives and works in Paris.
In ceramics, glass, textile or metal, her creations seem caught between two disci- plines, on the border between Art and Design. Largely anthropomorphic, the objects "are directly inspired by film characters" she confides. She exhibited at the Biennale de Saint Etienne, ,at Le Bon Marché, Amélie Maison d'art, at the Villa Belle- ville, LSD Gallery and most recently a group show at Bienvenue Art organized by the gallery Lily Robert and a duo show in Le Café des Glaces in Tonnerre.

Her strange and unique objects are close to cartoon characters with which she recreates her own fictions.
